Day 2-Here We Go!

Once we figured out the subway system we felt like Barcelona champs!
English was a little more hard to come by in this country, we used lots of sign language.
We had Sunday to explore the city a bit more before meeting our riding group that night.
We decided to visit the parc de montijuic (not sure what that means but it is basically a huge
castle that sits on the cliffs edge over looking the Mediteranian sea.) Fabulous views!

Artillery of any size seem to make this  fella pretty happy.

A few things that made me happy...
gelatos
funky mime dudes
the fresh sea breeze
people watching (okay, lots of good staring going on here)
seeing the amazing buildings that are rich with history
AND
just the overall time spent with Trent!

 AND THEN IT WAS TIME...
to meet the group. We were both wondering what kind of treat we were in for.
We met at the Port of Colombus...totally cool.

We got the big time giggles when our van pulled up and it was
full of 6 ladies and 1 guy! Apparently, riding is more popular with the ladies
in Europe...sorry Babe. Trent's face was priceless.
We had a two hour drive north, and ended at a place called Camprodon, a beautiful mountain town.
Let the fun begin.
