Girlie Tripping It

My Ohio Ladies...together at last (after 5 years).
Thanks to our dear friend Becky, we all met up at her Dads sweet beach pad in
Newport Beach. I smiled and laughed for 3.5 day's strait.
These trips are the best thing for the soul!
We were missing a few of our gal pals...but still managed to have a little fun.
Becky and Mr. Butcher. (Yes, she use to be Becky Butcher:)

Becky's Dad was awesome,he hooked us up with beach cruisers, boat rides
and a fancy place to crash for the weekend.

Gourmet Diva's ride again...well maybe for the first time!

We went on a boat ride on the Ocean!

Kathleen was my boating buddy. She is a good one. Probably the
all time happiest person I know.

Is this not HILARIOUS??? It doesn't look like a bad life to me.

Fish Tacos...again.

Balboa Pier

The best part of our ride..the stop for Balboa bars.

Is it possible to eat too many fish tacos?
HECK NO.

Doesn't this face say it all? Love this lady.

Russ picked up some flowers.."To warm up the kitchen". I thought that was pretty cute.
I took a few shots of the house because I thought it was decorated like a magazine.

Sunday morning we went to church and that afternoon had a picnic lunch on the "duffy" while
we cruised the bay.  Remind me to look at this picture next time I am elbow deep into one
of  Finley's diapers!

Sabbath day seal basking in the sunshine.
When you have some good color on your skin and your cheeks hurt from
smiling it's time to say good bye...or, until next time. Love these ladies!

Holy Post

Sometimes life gives you these moments that you swear you will remember for a lifetime.
I don't know why but I really loved this one.
A sister hook'n a sister up.
It's the best and it sums up how I feel about my two sisters.
This post is just a whole bunch of random every day life stuff. At the end of most days I feel
behind in every aspect of my life. And then I remember that tomorrow is a new day. SWEET.
I love being a Mom...

If I had a dollar for every soccer field Finley
has hung out on....

Look at our Dude. So proud of Tate and
his soccer skills.

Tate and Red Dog...Seriously, that is his nick name.

A few more from the first week of school....

Goof Ball

Children of the Corn....jk

T-man surprised me with some pretty fantastic Fall flowers...he knows me well.

Sydney made this as a "getting to know you" about
herself...
HELLO... PERFECT.

Tate mastered the art of making his OWN pbj...I am kind of sad,
now it's like he doesn't even need me.

I bought this light...it's a REAL Asian wok...Trent thought I was
joking.
ME NO JOKE!

Does it not SCREAM "FUNKY FUN LOVING LIGHT"???
I will snap some pics when I find someone brave enough to hang it
for me.
Grandma L came for a visit. She is pretty great...she cleaned my whole
entire house, that use to make me feel stupid. Now I embrace having free cleaning
services for the week!

Lunch date with this Chica!

I didn't get to go on her pumpkin patch field trip, (moment of sadness)
She got a good one all on her own.
Me and this Crazy Eye Ball went on a date to the General Womens  Conference.
We hit up the local Target and yogurt shop afterwards.

Syd wanted a "just for nothing" party. It was pretty fun and Tate
didn't mind a bit.

Bella, trying on her Halloween tu tu...giving Brook F. a kissy smooch.

This baby girl of ours is growing up way too fast...look at her hold her babba in like
an old pro.

Trent and I went to the temple last week, I was reminded
of how good it feels to go inside. I am really grateful that
Heavenly Father loves us enough to give us a little piece of Heaven on Earth.
I feel a little lighter when I walk out.
