Our LOVE~ Finley

So pretty.
Our little Finley turned the big two August 13th.
Everything about this little cookie is just terrific.
We are all goo goo over this girl.
And yes, the terrible twos have definitely hit
but this girl makes it hard to stay mad for very long.

Our little Honey had a birthday with
the family. She was a little shy when it came to so much attention.
Finley loves treats, yogurt, her Daddy, binkie, minky (blanket),babies, bubbles, cell phones, but mostly
she loves SHOES!

The boys sharing some ice-cream out on the deck
Finley loves Grandma Gaye!

I love to see how everyone takes care of the Finny.
She was heart broken this Fall when the kids went back to
school. She cried every morning the first week.
She is so happy when they get home!

Even with her two year old melt downs, we love this girl and we are so
grateful that we have her as our little caboose.
Happy birthday Fin!

Little Bit of August Love

August was pretty much a month of settling into things with
a few family shin digs here and there.
We should just title the past few months Our Summer of Transition.
We did get to go to our cute cousin Sadie's baptism.
We also had Trent's family over for one heck of a Family Home Evening.
I love that we have a place big enough to host.
So this post is just some bits of our August~

Sunday dinner with some of the Fam bam.
And Beth's cute friend Brandon.

End of some Summer fun in Grandma Susan's pool.

Finley and Baby Lucy sharing Aunt Cari's Love.

Alpine Days~
Trent spent part of his growing up years here in Alpine so it has
a special place in his heart. I love its small town feel. The parade was
pretty cute and the kids loved the little carnival.

Trent had a work party at Boondocks, I captured a shot of Syd
that sums it all up!

The kids have thought up some pretty rad sleeping places in this home
of ours. I wish they were always so cute with each other.
~Bed Buddies.

Emmy girl sleeping with her eye mask on.
She kills me.

Lagoon Day with Savages
Aunt Cari kept Tate and Emmy until the park closed (she is a real party animal).
They got home around midnight, Emmy must have felt like she was
still riding on the teacups because when she came in she threw-up and then fell right asleep.

The most EXCITING news of August is that
Wally George Smart was born.
My sister Mindy had her sixth baby, 5th son.
Proud Aunt!

Some of my favorite Washington staters came for a visit.
Warms the heart.

We got Cassie's high school classroom all prepped
and ready for her to teach class. Lucky kids, they have no idea
how cool this lady is. She really will be the best teacher.

Christmas in August...hee hee.
Tate got his list already to go.
My personal favorite is the snow cone machine and the
Chick filet Oreo Smoothie Maker. What a cool dude.

Our Savage Casa

HOME!

We hope it is for a really long time.
We bought this Park City lodge looking home in Alpine UT.
It will need a little help to get up to speed but it is funky and cool.
I think it will be a place that we will love to raise our family and have LOTS of
fun parties.

Move in day! We moved in around the middle of July.
Everything came in crates because  it had been in storage while
we were in temp housing. It pretty much looked like the Circus had
arrived.

Grandma Linda came and is always such a great support.
She even put her special socks on Finny girl.

Shout out to me...for rocking  a lunch for
the movers. Keep the boys fed and hydrated and they will
be happy campers.

Some shots of our new place, I can't wait to make it
ours.
 Entry Way
 Family Room
Our view from the front porch is my favorite!
Lots of good yard space for the kiddies.
One night we counted SIX buck out back.
It makes my man really happy.

When we open up boxes our kids can come up
with some really special outfits. It really is like Christmas when
they get to reunite with their belongings.

The indoor court is going to be a huge hit.
