Lights...and Eve, Eve

Provo River Bottom lights and a stop at Brick Oven,
can life get any better?

I love that Trent is always game for bundling three kiddies
up for the cold and taking them to see the lights...if it were up to me
they would probably be looking at lights from the warmth of our car (how boring).

The festivities for our family really start Eve,Eve. This is Grandma Susan's party and it
is no small feat to pull off this massive Savage gathering.  Grandma Susan, had a Fiesta
in honor of Grandpa Luke (he loved good Mexican food and a good PARTY!)
Thanks Grandma Susan!

Merry 2012

Merry- 2012.

When we took our quick trip to finalize on a home last weekend,
this is the only picture I took...our new backyard.
The house is new construction (final stages) so hopefully we will be
in by Febuary-March...which really equals April-May.

Sydney and Tate looking through American Girl magazines...should I be worried?

This week we had a cousin sleepover party to kick off
Christmas break. Benson came in my room and said,
"What are my breakfast options?"

I like a boy that's not afraid to help in the kitchen!

December Buzz!

My blog is a good indicator of how life is going for us....FAST.
The past couple of weeks we have managed to sell our home, buy a home and all
while Trent was on a different  continent.
It has been a bit of a challenge trying to make it feel festive around here amidst the paper work and planning the moving details.
I can't seem to keep up on all of the good stuff so once again another whirl wind post.

If I could push pause on the perfect age for Christmas it would be now...love these three, we
have some great energy going on this year and it makes me so happy.

Kids Village Christmas...my favorite party of the year. Honestly, it is like walking in to Disney Land!

Performance...nice stance Tate.

Even got the chance to go out with my high school buddies!
What a fun night.
Heather and Cyd giving snuggles (they are normal).
I'm lucky to have Mindy as both- my sister and my high school friend!

Shoell adult party...highlight of my December. Trent and I missed the dinner
because we took a really quick trip up to Seattle to finalize on a house. We made it home
just in time for games and dessert. The best part.

 This is my Dad.
I guarantee he is doing the "naughty laugh"
right here...

Syd's Christmas sing!

This year I got to help with Syd's class Christmas party!
We decorated "grahm cracker houses". My job
was to supply the candy (I can't think of a better job).

Seattle Savages!

 OFFICIAL!
Trent took a job with Amazon in Seattle Washington. Savages in Seattle has a nice ring.
Or maybe, Seattle Savages?
So here we go again, I am starting to think that life might not be "normal" for us if we didn't move every couple of years. A couple of weeks ago we went on our house hunting trip and thought we
would take Sydney along (for the record...7 years old think it sound's more fun then it actually is.)
The Smarts got the Tate and Emmy duo. Mindy is probably still recovering.

No Seattle trip is complete with out a stop at Pikes Place Market!
Syd got in touch with her "inner hippy."

Daddy Doo hooked us up with a fancy shmancy dinner after LONG days in the car.
Sydney was not in love with all of the car time but
I loved the one one one :)

We didn't find a house this trip but we found
some general areas that we like.
So Seattle, get ready because the Savages are coming!

Novemberish

November flew by and so here I am jamming one month in to one fine, dandy long post.
You have been warned :)
It's a good thing we got a quick weekend away to Park City, other wise I'm not sure we would have gotten our snow "fix" in for this year.  I'm pretty sure that all I will remember about this weekend
is Sydney puking for two days (love those trips).

I found Sydney and Tate sleeping under the train table Thanksgiving Eve (comfy right?)

 AND
let the fun begin.
We got the pleasure of hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year for
Trent's family, well a small portion of his family. It was fun, I love a good
party. We thought we would be doing Linda a favor by hosting but she
can out work us all.  Uncle Terrence let Emmy play beauty shop and Deb
put on a dessert bar that was way beyond rad.

The day after was such awesome weather that we took advantage of  some four wheeling.
Honestly, this is one of our favorite activities in Utah.
If a few Savages are good
more are better!

Tate & Aunt Deb

Helmet heads

If you think Trent is a good time...You should meet
 his brother....

Syd and Brookie

A November post would not be complete without a shout out to my
little sissy.

33 and cute as ever!
This girl loves veggies more than anyone I know.
In my attempt to make her a birthday dinner I made four different kinds of meat...and almost
forgot her veggies.
Mindy, you are the best Mommy I know.
When you wonder where the Shoell sweetness is...Mindy got most of it.
Mindy loves a good Mnt. Dew Cake and having lots of babies!
Happy Birthday Ninny.
