Utah Perks

I am so grateful we get to be in Utah.
We don't have to miss the important things like this...

My sister Cassie's graduation!
So proud of her and super glad I could be here to watch
her receive her diploma.
This girl has done some major hard things this past year. To see
her accomplish her goal to be a high school health teacher makes me beam with pride.
Lot's of happy tears were shed.

I love that my kids get to be around there cousins!
They went with the Smart's to a school carnival.

Look at these boys...
both of these pics were too good to not share!
Big time Utah Perk.

Kneaders French Toast, need I even say more?
Welcome home, welcome HOME!

Utah flowers.
LOVE'M.

Okay the biggest perk to Utah...right here.
Love my sisters. I would do anything for these ladies.
So great to be near them.

PS this is our apartment on Traverse.
This is not one of the perks but I thought
I better document this brief stay.
Temp housing=Yuck.

When we got here it rained and rained.
It felt like we never left Washington.

And a couple more, just for fun.
Life with out our
personal belongings drives us crazy.

The kids did school for about 3.5 weeks.
Sydney got the RASCAL award
(Basically the nice award) you rock girl.

Leaving Our Washington Home

To celebrate our final weekend in WA we spent a day exploring at
the Northwest Trek.  It is a huge 700 acre wildlife park that focuses on animals from
the Norhtwest. We all loved it. It was a great change up from the Zoo.
I think at this point we were all a little frazzled with the emotions that a move brings but
still managed to have a fun weekend crashing in a local hotel and getting some last minute friend time in.

The best part about staying in a hotel! Am I right or AM I RIGHT?
Wheat thins in bed...No Prob!

We got lots of swimming in too!

Try driving one of these bad boys around WA..almost killed me.
This was our rental for a week ,when they shipped my car off (the parking stalls in WA are tiny).
PS...this made me feel like we have a huge family :)

Life in Seattle would not be LIFE with out a final dinner at
Din Tai Fung...

Honestly...this pretty much sums up moving for us.
An Early morning and more stuff than we ever know
how to manage!  Love these kids for being troopers and that Dude of a husband
for making adventures for us.

Flying over Mnt. Rainier

Moving to Utah has perks...
Lots of loves from Grandparents
and some good cousin time!
It is ALWAYS good to come home.

Goodbyes are the WORST!

Okay, so here is the deal, the REAL deal.
The BEST and WORST part of moving is making
new friends and then the heart ache of it all, is leaving them behind.
Honestly, I have loved our moves.
But I hate goodbyes more than anything.
Saying good bye is tough enough but watching my kids have to say good bye with tears in their eyes almost killed me. Kristy Berrett gave them one heck of a Farewell Party. Her Parties skills are epic. Love the Berretts!

This post is full of some of our favorite Washingtonians!

 Isac Gould
Eliana Berrett

Dog Park
(not really, but thats what the kids named it)
One of our kids favorite hang out spots in the neigborhood.

Beatty Pad....
Beattys,Nielsons, Smarts,Muhelsteins,McBrides, Shribers and Owens!
Our people had an awesome party for Trent and I.
The Beatty's hosted one more night out on the floating dock.
I will miss these faces more than I could ever really express in words.

 Mrs. W.
We found the most amazing tutor of all time and
then of course we up and moved~DUH. What were we thinking?
Even though we only had her in our lives for a few short months, Mrs. W had such an
influence for good in our children's lives. I will ALWAYS be grateful for not only the
help she gave them with they're schooling but mostly for loving them and appreciating their differences.
She is WONDERFUL!

Keegan Porter...Boo Hoo!
I know I will never find another neighbor like this.
She was my go to lady, we could count on each other for anything.
Pretty cool to find a friend that would bring you over a green smoothie during
that afternoon slump hour and someone to pick up my Finny girl to love and hug for a minute!
Keeg's is amazing!
Her boys were pretty much part of the family and we still can't talk about the Porters with all getting
a little blue.
Keegan and "little Momma"
Emmy's True Blue Washington Bestie~ Campbell

I had to add these moving pics in because I feel like we are almost professionals.
Seriously.
Always a little bit of excitement that comes with moving and
 a whole ton of work.
I am so grateful for Trent, he really is my partner in all ways. I would
pack it up and go anywhere and everywhere with him. Let's hope we can take a little
rest from moving for a while.

Holy Boxes Batman!

True friends bring you by your favorite treat when your in the middle of a move!
Love you Katelyn Shriber!
Finley's moving station....ha!

 Love moving day breakfasts!

I will really miss the anything goes in Washington attitude!

 Time be still~
my little Emmy before the moving chaos.

A shout out to my cleaning lady Alberta...love this lady.
she was with me for 2.5 years...tiny little Brazzillian that could do all sorts of
back bends and hand stands. 70 plus and going strong!
She said a little prayer in Portuguese  on the porch with me and Trent before she left on her last day.
It was so heartfelt. This is a good women.

This Dude right here is Trent's favorite of the favs! He loves Mark McBride!
They hooked us up with some more goodbyes...

Stephen & Leonie Nielson.
Okay, so I can't stand life without these two.

Teri...Love this lady LOVE.
I was meant to move to Washington to find this lady.

If I could adopt Libby McBride...

Cutest trainer and friend in the world,
Melissa Haigh has helped me so much...but mostly I just love
being around her. She is motivating, happy and knows how to kick some booty!

This post is just a HUGE reminder to us why moving is so hard.  We love these people, I can't imagine my life without knowing them. They have added a little piece to my life's crazy puzzle and
I am so incredibly grateful that my Heavenly Father loves me enough to let me cross paths with
these exceptional people!

Miss you all like crazy~
