The Boy is 7

7 is Heaven.
Well, this little boy is.
Tate is Mr. Responsible he can't stand the thought of being late, not brushing his teeth or anything out of it's place. Good thing the rest of us are around to keep it real for him.
Tate is funny, oh my gosh...funny. He keeps us all laughing.
He is up at the crack of dawn to eat breakfast with Daddy. Maybe that is why he can fall asleep faster than anyone I know. He thrives on his Daddy time no matter what it is. We are so grateful that we have this brother in our family. He is learning what it means to take care of the ladies with all these sisters.
We love you Tate!

The blind fold and big reveal... Tate wanted an orange bike.

Tate ask's me to melt his ice cream every time.

Tate wanted a Minecraft birthday party. It's hard to make Minecraft cute.
It was fun to get to know Tate's little buddies better.  And what better way
than wrapping them up in toilet paper?

Tate requested an action shot!

And a few extra :)

Easter

Easter 2014
Poor Fin, always in her car seat. We wouldn't even bust her out
for the traditional Easter family picture....Life is easier this way Finley.
I love this little clan. And I am so grateful for the knowledge that our Savior lives.
I love hearing my kids say the word "resurrection"? They are always a little unsure I love
teaching them that, yes, Jesus died on the cross for us but He lives. A little bit confusing, Emmy has started adding to her nightly prayers.."Please bless Jesus to come down to this land.".
I hope my kids know of the peace and comfort I feel because our Savior lives.

NOW GO FIND SOME EGGS....Little Savages!

Home Stretch

Park day with our cousins and a little Grandma Love too!
I love our time in Utah. It's a great time for our kids to connect with our
families.

A walk with Grandma Susan.

One of the reasons it was time to leave Utah. Seriously my allergies were
unbearable...get in the car NOW.
Look what Bella did on the way home...Don't worry,
I didn't nurse her.  Giving me her Schnauzer snuggles.
In the words of Trent "SICK".

The kids got a little bananas on the way home we decided to do the drive in one
day. We all got a chuckle when we looked in the back and Tate was
skinning it. Oh kiddie Schmiddies!

This is The Place & Jazz

The kids joined us for the rest of the weekend in Park City. One afternoon we
went to Salt Lake and spent some time at This is the Place Park.  It was a pretty spring day. Sometimes when I look at pictures of our clan out and about in public I think to myself..probably should have combed some hair, made sure we had matching clothes you know the drill.
But look at those happy faces!

We let Emmy put some pink hair make-up on. Sums her up.
I could almost feel her squeezing the life out of these little chicks.  Her favorite part
of the trip for sure.

"WELL...would you look at that!"

Sitting in front of the Savage stables.

Tate had a moment of fear, he thought this train ride might be like the
Night Mare Express...We got him all situated. Whew.

T-man really is cool. Me and Fin ditched early to the car and he let
the kids go back and squeeze more chickens.

We had my family come up for General Conference Sunday.
It was special....Cassie did homework, Mindy made lots of Mac'n Cheese and
Beth snuggled Finley. Conference and family? Good day.

Trent got us the hook up for some Utah Jazz tickets.
We took Syd and Tate and made it a night out on the town.
We picked Daddy Doo up from Savage and went for some Sushi.
This kids didn't love it. Sad. I'm not sure they will ever be invited to hang out with us again.
Kidding Sydney. Thanks for at least trying.
We had great seats, good staring and lots of treats, we even watched a little basket ball.
