BIG DEAL-IO

Em, Syd, Teagen
Snow Day!
It was perfect, the last day of school before winter break and school got
canceled due to the "huge"snow storm. The kids were beyond stoked for the 1/4 inch
snow fall.  Live it up kiddies.

I have the coolest friend, her name is Kelly, she loves my kids and
it makes me soooo happy. This is her daughter Tate. Some days they
come and take my kids on adventures just to give me a little  personal time.
I'm not sure why they are so good to me but I am always grateful for the way they serve our
family. I hope I can be like them someday.

Ginger bread house decorating time.  I love how these houses
come pre built...it's a sweet gig right?!

Finley checking out the hard work.

I was the icing chick...it's a very important job.

I love how the girls sleep intertwined. So comfy.

December Snips!

I love December.
I get a little blue when all the excitement comes to an end.
I feel like I say this a lot, but I wish I could hit the freeze button on life.
The kiddies are at the cutest age ever.
A few shots of our December.

The extent of our outdoor decorating.
Every year we talk about putting
lights up AND every year we don't.

The Creek froze over and provided hours of entertainment!

Tate & Ben

Happy Four months Finny Winny!

Tate is Fins biggest helper, he can't handle if she is sad.

Finley tried a little cereal...it wasn't a huge success.

The kids were excited about the "reindeer" behind our house.

Sweet little Finley. The time seems to be flying by!

Oldie but a Goodie

One more round from the Summer of 2012!
The Black Box, a 13 mile hike through the dessert most of it is suppose to be in water.
I would say most of it was through mud. Cassie has the all time coolest buddies ever. They have some great adventure trips. Lucky for us we got to join in on this one.

We slept under the stars.

Some off roading with the boys.

And were off!

Tracy and her boys!

The hike was HOT.  Like really hot.  In my mind, I'm pretty sure I was thinking
is this worth it?....I still might be thinking it. But the company was great. I laughed hard.

My adventure buddy.

And about right here is were I lost camera #32 to a water incident. I still can't believe my
card made it out alive. The trip got really crappy after this any way. Imagine us sludging through a river bank of mostly mud.  Okay, I will now continue on with life as we know it, December of 2013. Where the new adventure is surviving Finley Life, sleepless nights, diaper changes and XL winter sweaters.
Totally awesome.

A Blast From the Past!

Somethings in life are too good not to remember!
I found one of my cards with some photos that never got blogged from
the summer of 2012. It made me so happy I had to put it into blog form.
Rustads, thanks for making this a glorious event. Those Lake Towners know how to party.
We stayed in what they called the "grandma's pad", went four wheeling, ate BLT'S, played cards, spent the afternoon at Bear Lake and
hit up the derby. It was an epic July weekend.

Morning Lake Town walk with Tate. Look at that cute buzz.

Emmy giving Dave a BLT love!

The Derby...

This is Jules "Cow Girl Concentration" look.

The derby can get LOUD.

Honestly, if we could relive a weekend this might be at the top of our list thanks Rustads!
