1,700 Miles

1,700 miles-need I say more?
For a total car time of 29 hours. Our kids were rock star travelers, with that said, I do not blame them if they scream, bite or kick the next time I try to buckle them into "the minnie" for a road trip! This of course, is a lengthy post but it is my shout out to UTAH. My sister in-law, who understands what it is like to live out of bags for weeks, told me that by next year I would be ready to come back and do it all again. She is right, though some parts of our trip were a little rough with the crew, I am all ready looking forward to our Summer 2010 vacay.

Surprise! Happy (belated) Birthday Utah Style, Trent concocted a surprise party for me from afar.
Trent had been planning this little shin dig for a few weeks. I love him for the thought, but in all fairness this cute little Momma had to pull it all together to make it happen. Thanks Mom-ba!

The much awaited for Bosch- Hey my cooking gals, do you remember our conversation before I left for Utah? The Trentster came through!

3.5 HOURS REMAINING
I love that I could tell my kids "only 20 hours left" and they would cheer. It is a beautiful thing when they do not know the difference between 1 and 29!

Every one has asked us how we ever survived our drive a cross the country with three little ones? Our secret to successes.... You cry, you get candy.

D A D D Y

I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home.....(seriously! What would I do if Daddy did not come home?) When Trent walks through the door (after a long day of work)  I feel like immediately breaking in to the moon walk across the tile floor. The kids squeal with delight and bombard him with their love; Which usually consists of them being half clothed, sticky faced, leg climbing, monkey screaming, toy throwing, maniacs! Thanks for not only being our kids hero but mine.

We Love You Daddy!

This is my Daddy's Day humor! (Syd's- latest doll house set up)

"Daddy" Fisher Price- chill'n  with his tunes....
while that Hot little blonde (I like to imagine is me) is doing the dishes.
I think this is funny, only because if anything, Trent is the die hard dish washer at our house.
(Syd, thanks for providing me with good humor!)

Road Tripp'n

Uncle Mac and Auntie Angie came out to the "Natti"(Cincinnati) this past week. Of course we had to make the grande trek up to Kirtland, OH for the historic church history sites. Trent had Youth Conference and was not able to join us, which made me a little nervous to drive with my posse solo but Mckay and Angie were an awesome help and we had a great time.

Really, I think their just happy to be out of the mini.

Our cousin, Sister Shoell is serving at the Newell K. Whitney Store. It was fun to have her give us our own personal tour.
