Lake Sammamish

 Father's day with a couple of the best daddies I know.

Mark Mcbride made everyone breakfast! I bought them

matchy matchy for their special day.

Trent is an awesome Dad, he really cares about having a relationship with our kids.

He talks with them, plays with them, listens to them, teaches them, wants to make life as good as

he possibly can for them...I really admire his "Dad" skills.

  And life on Lake Sammamish is awesome...

 Tate had the Lantz boys down to play!

Land That We Love

In June we made the trek up to Washington!

The people and place make the journey  totally worth it.

We rented a little cottage on Lake Sammamish. We had the time of our lives,

With our good friends and old neighbor buddies. 

I kind of feel like we have the best of both worlds, living in Utah but being able 

to stay in Washington and visit with some of our very best friends.

On our road trip up we sent Libby (horse) to "boot camp" to spend some time

with a real cowboy to get her sassy bum under control. Thatcher Utah is beautiful and 

Benjy worked miracles on the little honey.

We got to Washington just in time to Party for Katelyn Shribers 40th birthday bash on Pine Lake.

Can't think of a better way to start a trip!

JUNE~

I have the best hubby and a really good Dad!

These two set up a little coral in the back yard for the horses.

My dreams are coming true.

It has been such an exciting few months, buying horses, finding panels and a horse trailer.

I feel like I have learned a lot. Made a few mistakes a long the way but it is all coming together.

Trent has been so awesome and let me go for it. 

Nothing better than Summer. 

Trent gave me his blessing to buy another horse!

  I took Finny and Tate and we headed up to Idaho

to buy this little gem. 

Meet Mango...

 After spending time with the cowboys up in Idaho Tate

told me, "it was time for him to earn his keep."

Thank you Idaho Cowboys for making such an impression on this boy.

I have loved my summer rides with this lady.

We have had lots of good talks...Love Margo Lameroux!

We love our Tessa girl! She has babysat the past few months for us and 

we are really going to miss her when they move to Saudi Arabia this Summer.
