Syds 10th~

I LOVE getting settled, we are in all moved in and getting things figured out around
here. Now that we have internet and our computer set up I can catch up on
life with the Savages.
I can't think of a better way, besides
posting about Sydney's Tenth Birthday!
Now that She has hit the big double digits we had to go big or go home so we went big!
Sydney and her two favorite Seattle-ites went zip lining through the forest, the Bellvue forest.

I am proud of Sydney, moves are hard, leaving good friends.....super hard. I hope she learns from
all of our moving around that good friends are just waiting to be found.

Glad we could celebrate with these cute girls before we left.  Syd is always up for
an adventure, it's one of the things I love about her.

Kate Shei and Brook Fuller

These girls know how to have fun.

Syd definitely takes after her Poppa-son!

We topped off our evening with a stop at Red Robin and
a late-over. I would say it was a successful 10th!
Love you Syd!

Space Needle and Chihuly

For the last Sha-bang of Spring Break we headed to the top of the Space Needle.
Great views, it was a little windy but worth doing. We went to the Chihuly Blown
Galss exhibit....It was AWESOME. I would probably leave Finley home next time :)

Grandma Gaye was up for the fun too!
Elevator ride

Sydney was my chihuly model...

We talked Grandma Gayebird into taking the tour
with style...wheelchair style!

Over the break Emmy learned how to ride her bike SWEET!!
So proud of her. My favorite is that she rounded up some elbow and knee
pads for the occasion.

And this little sweetie is into her siblings shoes still...

Mt. Rainer

Mt. Rainer
The saying goes, "The Mount is Out!"
If it is a clear day in Washington then you can see the glorious
Mt. Rainer.
It has been another thing to do on our Washington bucket list.
I am kind of sad that we waited until a couple of weeks before we are leaving to do this.
The road with all of the great hikes was closed for winter still. So next time we will
hit this over the Summer months. It was a really pretty day and it made me excited to come
back and to see it again.
We did find this one little hike, called, The Hall of Patriarchs.
It was pretty awesome.

Bella's first time in the snow.  She couldn't decide between
licking it or rolling around in it.

Trent and I recently celebrated 14 years of marriage!
Wow, it has been fourteen years of adventure and I love that
Trent keeps it exciting. The best choice I have ever made.

Poo Poo Point

I think the trail name
is kind of disgusting.
But rest assured, their's no poo poo
on this point.
Im not really sure how it got that name? One of my favorite hikes and on a clear
day has a fabulous view of Issaquah, Bellevue and even Seattle.
Brock and Aimee Smart joined us.

I love hiking with Cassie because she has a real love for
nature and will let me set the pace. We have lots of good
talks and laughs. I am so grateful that she is my older sister.
She is AMAZING. Charley is full of humor so he will
be invited with me anytime.

And  of course soccer never ends...even over Spring Break!~
We spend hours in the car, luckily I found
someones Easter candy for Finley to munch on.
