Novemberish

November flew by and so here I am jamming one month in to one fine, dandy long post.
You have been warned :)
It's a good thing we got a quick weekend away to Park City, other wise I'm not sure we would have gotten our snow "fix" in for this year.  I'm pretty sure that all I will remember about this weekend
is Sydney puking for two days (love those trips).

I found Sydney and Tate sleeping under the train table Thanksgiving Eve (comfy right?)

 AND
let the fun begin.
We got the pleasure of hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year for
Trent's family, well a small portion of his family. It was fun, I love a good
party. We thought we would be doing Linda a favor by hosting but she
can out work us all.  Uncle Terrence let Emmy play beauty shop and Deb
put on a dessert bar that was way beyond rad.

The day after was such awesome weather that we took advantage of  some four wheeling.
Honestly, this is one of our favorite activities in Utah.
If a few Savages are good
more are better!

If you think Trent is a good time...You should meet
 his brother....

Syd and Brookie

A November post would not be complete without a shout out to my
little sissy.

33 and cute as ever!
This girl loves veggies more than anyone I know.
In my attempt to make her a birthday dinner I made four different kinds of meat...and almost
forgot her veggies.
Mindy, you are the best Mommy I know.
When you wonder where the Shoell sweetness is...Mindy got most of it.
Mindy loves a good Mnt. Dew Cake and having lots of babies!
Happy Birthday Ninny.

The Honey

Why Trent is in between jobs he decided it would be a good time to take up my Valentines gift
(yes, as in last February). Lasik! Because of the shape of his eye he had to do something called
PRK, same out come as Lasik but longer recovery.
I like to give gifts in the forms of IOU...similar to Loyd Christmas from the movie
"Dumb and Dumber." Any how, a few weeks from now the guy will probably be
really happy. Right now everything is a blur. I keep asking him if I look really skinny?
 (don't answer that)
 Happy Valentines Babe.

And completely unrelated but funny

Ready, Set, Random!

READY, SET, RANDOM!
A few million phone pics...(I can't wait for a camera.)
These are past to current and as about as random as
you can get but I love them.

 New hair-dos for school.
 We gave Simon one too!

My very favorite part about living in Utah is
the awesome outdoor adventures...and enjoying
them with the people I love.

Silver Lake Glance

I love a man in tights/leggins.

We took advantage of the beautiful November weather
and had an awesome hike on Saturday to Silver Lake Glance.
Silver Lake Glance sits north and a little east of Silver Lake.
Not very many people know about it because their is no trail..
which always makes it more of an adventure!

Silver Lake Flats

Cass

Well, here she is the girl that brings out
the best and worst in me...
My Sister.

Just kidding, she knows how to push me pass my
pain limit. Anytime I want to quit she pushes me
to finish and I love that about her.
Yes, sometimes it may have me using very inappropiate language
BUT
I wouldn't have her any other way.
Thanks Cass.

Silver Lake
Silver Glance

My mountain lov'n man.
When we were hiking along I was thinking how grateful I am
that Trent loves the outdoors as much as I do (maybe more).
I'm so happy we get to enjoy these kind of awesome things
together. Granted,I  am usually a good mile behind him
but eventualy we catch back up and take some victory photos
together.

November hike...complete!

Happy Carving

Man, I am totally having the October blues.
Maybe it's just the Halloween blues.
When we told our kids we were going to carve pumpkins I think
Trent and I got a million hugs and kisses
(Man, do we know how to treat them right or what?)
Actually, I just think the Savage kids might be at their
"Halloween Prime"...  Put on a little Monster Mash and it is more than
the these three crazies can handle!

Please notice the garbage sacks that Trent prepared the
table with...sometimes his clean freak-ness is rad.

Carving Spasm..
I think he might be having one too...

 Emmy won for "Most A-like".

Happy Halloween, Spooky Savages.
